Raising Capital: Outlook and Innovation
Ted Hatfield is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Solebury Capital Group LLC. Ted has worked on Wall Street for over 25 years with experience in equity underwriting, trading and management. Prior to founding Solebury in 2005, Ted spent twenty years at CSFB / Credit Suisse where he served as Head of CSFB's Equity Syndicate Department for the Americas where he had management responsibility for the global marketing, pricing, allocation and trading of all equity and equity-linked transactions originated in the Americas. Ted was also responsible for the marketing and distribution of all international equity transactions sold into the United States.
Ted has managed the execution of nearly 500 IPOs, follow-ons and block trades with proceeds in excess of $125 billion. He has developed tactics for marketing to large retail groups, integrated Dutch Auction technology and supervised 144 and 144a financings. Ted has led the execution for a number of high-profile issuers including Kraft Foods ($8.6bn), MetLife ($3.3bn), ENI ($20.0bn privatization), Alstom SA ($4.1bn), STMicroelectronics ($2.4bn), Kinder Morgan ($3.3bn), Nielsen ($2.2bn), Hertz ($1.4bn), The Carlyle Group, Home Depot, Nokia, Union Pacific, Sally Beauty Holdings, Booz Allen, Dunkin' Brands, Freescale Semiconductor, Allison Transmission, and The Vitamin Shoppe. Ted was responsible for committing Firm capital and trading the stabilization positions on behalf of the underwriting group.
Ted is a graduate of Lehigh University and lives in Summit, New Jersey with his wife and four children.
