IR Targeting & Investor Trading Behaviors
Jason Lenzo is Director, Equity & Fixed Income Trading for Russell Investments' implementation and global transition services. Jason manages trading activity for all Russell funds and third party client accounts. Jason's duties encompass the execution, scheduling and implementation of transition strategies that best fit client objectives. He directs post-trade execution analysis and reporting on completed client activity.
Prior to taking on this role, Jason was the senior trader of Russell's implementation and global transition services. Jason managed the day-to-day trading and strategy for all transition activity. His duties encompassed planning trade strategy, pre-trade cost analysis, execution, and post-trade review. Jason was also responsible for the on going development of the pre-trade cost and impact models used to achieve client objectives. Russell's trading desk is positioned to deliver superior portfolio performance during asset transitions by employing the most cost-efficient, risk-adjusted transition strategies within the industry. The methodology involves extensive qualitative and quantitative analyses of client's current and target portfolios, establishing trading strategies, intraday maintenance of portfolio structure during the trade and managing market exposure.
Jason joined Russell in 1997 as an assistant trader where he aided the traders in executing client trades and handling the day-to day operations of the firm. He was also challenged with automating and refining the daily trading process and was involved in implementing several single stock and portfolio trading platforms, as well as the supporting infrastructure.
