Anthony Takazawa is the Vice President of Investor Relations at EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC). Under Anthony's direction, the EMC IR team has earned many awards for excellence in investor relations including several years of top rankings in the Institutional Investor Magazine annual survey. He is an active IR advocate and a frequent commentator and panelist regarding topics such as disclosure practices, non-GAAP reporting, targeting, market structure, global IR, corporate governance, shareholder activism and social media. Anthony is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and a past Officer and Director of NIRI Boston.
Prior to EMC IR, Anthony was an equity portfolio manager, equity analyst and director of equity research. Most recently, he was Vice President at Bankers Trust (now part of Deutsche Bank) and previously an Investment Officer at Phoenix Investment Counsel.
Anthony has earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, where he is a graduate of the Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP), and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
